Tractor trailer almost crushes me on I-75 on the way to work this morning...
I get here,and realize I left my wallet at home......
Now my cell phone fell into a bucket of MEK....

Yesterday, I had to pick up my brother from the airport. No big. two hours on ice covered turnpike. The usual in the ditch types. One japanese mini SUV turtled with the rear hatch open. Picked my brothr up and went 90 miles to my parents home. The usual in the ditch, a van that had rolled, a semi that was in the ditch going east and west. By Afton, they still had a cleanup crew working a major accident that had closed the turnpike Sunday night. The only thing left was the ends and one side of the trailer, and aaaallll the load. Dropped brother off, and decided to go get dogs from OKC. The usual in the ditch. Near Stroud, a semi had gone off into the ditch, up the other side and then slowly laid down on its side. Then more sleet came and covered up the tracks it had made. Finally made it home after 400 miles of travel. If I wasn't so sick, it would have been an adventure.
But like you, it was what didn't happen that is the bright point. And compared to a few drivers, my day was just great. :D

i agree thats a rough morning but try to look at the bright side:idea:
the truck didnt crush you
you can take advil for the headache
your wallet is in a safe place
and your cell phone is replaceable
staying in bed was a option but not your reality
stop pray and be thankful your breathing and your family is safe

What are you spraying that you need MEK as a solvent? I'm guessing some type of poliester product...

The MEK is there in buckets to flush the pump, gun, and 100 feet of line when I finish painting....I use Axon Aerospace Polyurethane....very tough to clean paint...
