I don't want to sell it, but I found another project that I like very well.
This is an '85 TOI 18' long deck. It is not a flat bottom. Its a pad-vee, and it rides better in the rough than most 21 footers. Has a 10deg Casale with 22% gears. Velvet drive, steel 2 blade prop. Motor is different from picture. It is an 8:1 2bolt main, 468 chevy with small heads, TRW forged pistons, Weiand Team-G intake, new Holley HP950 carb and Dry ceramic coated Rewarder headers. Boat currently runs 70mph at 5200rpm and accelerates like a rocket. with more setup and power, there is much mmore to be had. It has a tandem axle trailer, that needs some work, like paint, and fenders.
Will sell complete for $5500 or $3500 less motor.
Call me at (928)855-3024 or email me through the board, if interested.

what's a toi?? TOI is short for "Thomas Owned Industries" His boat were called "Thrillcrafts" and they were built in Arvada, Colorado from 1982 to 1989 by Doug Thomas. Most were jet-drive. The glass work was/is stout., as this boat is now 18 yrs old, and a pretty light layup, and has no stress cracks. Rigging was/is nothing special.

Don't I wish. I actually found a tunnel squirt boat I like alot. Plus I am not doing so well financially since moving to Havasu, so cashing out of this one and getting a cheap project boat makes some sense (I THINK...)

The boat has fixed plates, there is no pedal or handle to control them with, although it could easily be converted. And it has full stringers, and they are rock solid. And guys, I am still a v-drive lover and even if I sell this one, I will have another, probablt the next will be a bieser or equivalent. I just think this other boat makes more sense in my life right now. I really don't care bout the rooster tail even. The most interesting factors of this boat I found are that it's got more freeboard than mine, more room inside, and being a tunnel, it will still be fast, unlike most jetboats (HEHEHEHE)
Aw crap, I might have to change my license plate (VDRIVEN)

Sprint is also for sale for the same prices, but the differences are: LS7 engine, single axle trailer and upolstery that needs work. Oh and another difference it runs in the high 80s with a 396, so how fast do you think it will run with that 468 12-1 comp. LS7??? Sorry, I just had to be a JeRk! smile_sp
