8 paddle is only about $45 new. They usually have one or two at every motorcycle shop.

I want a paddle and rim!
Motorcycle shops want too much for the Rim & Tire. I want to be able to switch my rim instead of having my tires change back and forth from nobby to paddle.

Keep an eye out. I've seen several for good prices, especially if you just need a stock hub. I picked min up for my KX around 3 bills. Still expensive but I swapped my tire yesterday in 5 minutes for the track this weekend. Swapping back next week to hit the dunes, that's $30 savings right there.
I also built a tire changing fixture out of an old aluminum 15" wheel. Easy to do and works like a champ.

I've a got a paddle tire at home (Whittier) you can have for a BL.
Can't help on the rim but if 'ya find one w/o tire, lemme know.
