Someone told me that they have a place in Parker... they took some quads on a lonng lonng ride... and low & behold in the middle of nowhere there was a bar... packed even!! I have never heard of this... I know in Glamis there is a bar... but not THAT far off the beaten path. This place sounds like its truely in the middle of nowhere!!
Anyone know??

yes there is a bar, which is pretty cool on the weekends live music, drinks food.you can drive a car to it so its not an offroad avenger but cool quad or rhino cruise.do a little ridden on the trails on the way there.its off 95 just north(havasu side) of old river road.(turn off to drive along river)couples miles north of blue water casino.

Do a search here on the boards, use perhaps desert bar, another thread even had some maps of the route to it. Been there but can't tell you exactly what road to take off of 95. Lots of fun, find the thread, map and GO!
Can't remember when open but not all year. Uses solar power real cool.

do a search for NELLIE E SALOON and you will get a map and run down of the place.

The Desert Bar is awesome. It is open from Labor Day - Memorial Day. It is not open in the summer because it is too hot. The place is run on solar and the water is gravity fed. I was really surprised how clean the place was. It is not your typical desert bar. They have different bands every day (on the weekends).
These directions may not help but I only know it by sight. If you are traveling the 95 from Parker towards Havasu you will pass Riverside Drive (old 95). As you go back up the hill, the road (95) curves to the left. After you complete the curve there is a road (on the right hand side) that is paved for approx 200ft. It then turns to dirt. Follow that dirt road for 3 - 5 miles and you'll see the place. If you go on the weekend, you will see other vehicles (cars, trucks etc) traveling to & from the bar.
I am terrible with directions & I found it. Good luck.

Boatcop posted that it's cool to ride quads up Cienega Springs rd from the main drag to Kennies.
We maintain a R&P speed, and a desig driver on return, the kids on quads.
We do the run every spring, and I post it if you're interested.
Kenny open Sat Sun, noon to sundown, closed Memorial day to Labor day.
It's a super fun ride, everyone loves it.
Usually some sort of lunch is available at Kennies too,, not always.
Sometime even a band,, but something always cool.

Yes, guys have ridden Harleys out there. It's just a graded dirt road. No problem for the Honda.
