...Corvette. I love my car but I made a mistake by getting the paddle shifted automatic. How much of a beating will I take if I traded it in on a new Manual trans car? I've put 2000 miles on in the six months I've owned it.
I haven't talked to my selling dealer yet, I'm just sitting here thinking about it...

Why sell it?
From what I have been reading/seeing at the track the 6speed auto is running great times and seems to be great compared to the standard 4 speed auto.
I have a 6speed 04 and wouldn't have it anyother way if it was a toy but I hate sitting in traffic.

I am very impressed with the six speed auto but I want to do the APS twin turbo and I think the manual will be a better trans choice.
Be prepared to go through clutches/trannys and rear ends.
Are you gonna race it or just play around.
If you gonna race it that Turbo system and a hagher stall converter are the key for fast 1/4 times.
I am not sure home much power the APS puts out but I am making 470 to the wheels and my 6speed won't hook up in the first 2 gears to save it's life. (I was easily faster to 60 stock.....It's a ton faster from 60+now:D)

Dump the auto. I love my standard 6 Spd convert! Just depends on how bad of a beting you will take on the trade. Retail out of yours and then buy a new one. I bought mine with 5,000 miles and saved a ton. I am thinking about dumping it and going to a 06 or 07 Just depends what kind of deals I start seeing. There are some smoking deals on new and used vettes out there.
