In my opinion at the price you have it listed at it will sit for quite a while before is sells.(Unless someone goes to the boat show and prices a new one) The current pricing on used boat is way below where it was a year and a half ago and that is 1.5 year ago used pricing on that boat.
I only say this because you guys are in a mad dash to sell and buy tobys boat.
I honestly think you need to be in the mid 90K range to make someone bite.(Broke Richard is trying to sell his Conquest w/525 that probably cost 130K to build for 88.5K with 15 hours on the clock)

The market it real soft right now, since everyone is bailing out on all of these '05 and '06 boats. The boats really seem to move when they are 3-5 years old and can reach the "entry-level" buyer. It seems saturated with high $ machines that only a certain group can reach.
If I were in the market to move to a different boat, I would be all over your TopCat. I don't see getting tired of mine for at least another 4-5 years, though.

I think for a starting point to feel the market they aren't to bad on price. I would have gone a smig below the 110 mark. But it is a used boat for sale. Call the seller, look the boat over and make a offer. This boat has a big stereo as well. We all know stereo stuff adds up quick. The boat will roll around the 100K mark. Unless the market changes.

110 k is about right plus tax, obviously not everyone needs a 21k stereo. Your boat looks great, it just boils down to how fast you want to sell your boat. It would only be for a couple of months. We are very sensible here at HB.
I'd float some cash and makeTobek an offer he couldn't refuse. Keep enough $'s to make the loan payment for 3 months. It might cost a couple bucks but worth it in the long run if you can buy the DCB right.

the stereo Initially cost about $11-13k don't really remember. I do remember CarToyz giving us one hell of a deal. Then hubby had to buy a generator, fancy metal powdercoated speaker covers with flames to match, Then he said the battery charger wasn't good enough for HIM so he got a bigger one ( the first one was just fine but he is verly stubborn:hammer2: :hammer2: )Then he changed a couple of amps (for no reason hubby just HAD to do them:devil:) Then hubby decided he didn't like the head unit (says he couldnt figure out the buttons) and so on and so on. I think you can see where I am going.
Maybe instead of selling this boat in hopes of getting Toby's I should get a new freekin husband:idea:
I would also like to say THANX to Frank, Brent, and especially JP at CarToyz for putting up with Hubby's crap and installing one HELL of a stereo. Tim (hubby) says he would drive his Peterbilt to CarToyz (250miles) to have them change a fuse before he went anywhere else.. They do an outstanding job and really go out of their way to treat us like FAMILY.

its called the "snowball effect" you start by thinking I'll install some top shelf Focal speakers. That turns into well if im going to spend that much money, might as well go all out. THEN might as well have ROZ design the whole system, and have your Audison amps imported from France. He is a MASTER at building killer systems with YOUR credit card in hand:eek: ... then you can't just drill holes in the std side panels, you have to have one off Sema type fiberglass work done and have that custom painted....ect.

He always has a project going or fixing up something. You just gottat let him do what he wants and he is happy. I just shake my head sometimes but he makes sure he takes care of me too so I don't say much.

I'm a total tire kicker, but looking to learn; what advantage does a second step have? What are the disadvantages? With a 525, what kind of speed are you seeing? What's insurance run on a boat like this? I had a friend with a deck boat and he said it was like a wind tunnel, what have you (others) experienced?

Ours is a single step (one of the last ones)
the 525 will run 68mph with 3 adults and 3 kids, beer, Ice, full of fuel, (we dont travel light)
Wind tunnel not really. Depends on where you sit. Driver and passenger is just like being in a regular boat. Back seat right in the middle you are getting everything. Front seats you get hit with wind also. We had an open bow boat before this and we don't really notice any diffference with the DECK boat. This boat is faster than our 21 footer so we get alot more wind.

we know its crazy to do it but Tobteks boat is hubies dream boat. Thats the one he wanted when we got ours but we couldn't afford it (new). After we bought our tobs boat showed up on HB Huby has been talking about it ever since we figured what the hell we will give it a shot but we have to sell it b4 we can buy tobys
