How come they don't have a lap top on the fender in the pit shots..... is this back when the ear was the tune...... I enjoy the old hot rod stuff. Way before my time of driving but I remember a lot of the cars as a kid.

That first video was a fitting tribute to "Dany Dick Landy" A true racers racer. Although he didn't have the best demeaner of the racers back then, no one could argue with his unending quest for bigger and better things for the drag racing world......His success is legendary. Jungle Jim was more of a "common mans" racer. Always friendly and very fan friendly, winning or losing...Don Garlits, just the name says it all......Man, those were the days......Long before the big scren at Pomona that shows TV commericals, long before speakers lining the return road to blast those ads, and crap music so loud you can't even hear the cars at the starting line.........Oh, rant over, cool videos, thanks.........MP
