Ford is in big trouble and this could quite possibly make things worse for them. I have always liked the styling of the Ford SuperDuty trucks but these ones are just plain ugly. They ruined the F150 by putting those stupid tail lights on it and unless your name is Juan and you come from Juarez the F-150's just look downright funny, now they go and do this.
Looks like Chevy is going to make a big come back because they are running out of competition.

There will be after market grills to replace that big clunky thing. Once that is replaced I think it's a very nice looking truck.

Same here. After 2 Durangos and 1 Ram equalling 2 trannies and one motor I'll be buying Chevy from now on. Dodges look the best but they just don't seem to hold up.

$200k for that, I think not. I am sticking with production models where warranty is not an issue.
I really hope Chevy comes up with an answer to the 450 with something in the 3500 bodystyle that can pull 20-22k.

Funny, everyone who I have talked to that has had a 4500-5500 has gone back to the regular style (like the 2500-3500).
The Kodiak is a POS. Especially the more custom stuff you have done to it; the truck rejects that stuff and starts behaving poorly because you did something to it. Personality disorder.

Ya, ours is a fully loaded Regency truck. Actually all the issues are mechanical though, engine, tranny, xfercase, driveline, rearend. LOL

I know your pain. I had a Regency conversion too. Had it 6 months, hated it, lost $14k. A ton of the Regency stuff kept going wrong on mine.
$88k sticker price and it was the worst thing I have ever owned.

Ford came by today and taught us about the new superduty. Sorry guys, it is one sweet truck. It can tow up to 24,500. It can haul 6200 in the bed. It has no turbo lag. Instant power. It is so quiet I told the dude teaching us to talk quieter we couldn't hear the diesel engine running. And talk about a tight turning radius. It turns sharper than my superduty. If you want to hate Fords don't drive the new superduty!

One of my guys just sold an '04 F350 and at Sunrise Ford they get the '08's next week. His '04 had the 6.0 liter issues and he didn't want to possibly be another problem truck (new motor) so he bought an '07 King Ranch this morning.
I'm driving one next week. Love to see how the motor performs...:D :D

Rick is right. I have a buddy that works at the proving grounds also on this particular motor and he said that have not been able to get more than 50k miles on one before it blows up. I would be extremly careful when spending that kind of money especially the first year out. But to each his own i guess. The truck looks cool but if it don't run then it ain't worth S%^&.

I have to call bullcrap. The bigger radiator and the side vents in the fenders are to disapate heat. Heat is the enemy of diesel engines. Ford is looking to see hundreds of thousands of miles on these engines. Ford had 10 million miles of testing and 600 of the new engines tested. Out of Fords own mouth, "we can't afford to not have sucess with the new superduty". When you see a new superduty, get in the right hand lane, because even though he is towing a bigger boat, he's still going to pass you.
