A lot of people don't like the looks; I like it a lot. Very nice lines. Reminds me of a car side profile.
Whats up with the pivot looking ramp in the front?
And the driver sure does sit high up.

The ramp does pivot. Down for easy loading and beaching. Up doubles as a gate and wind deflector.
I think Wes designed the seat high so the driver could see over his passengers.
I like this boat a lot, I have since it was nothing but a drawing on a computer.
The ramp can also be put down to catch Zebra Muscles and clear reeds off of the Sandbar... ;) JK Wes... I like the boat.
About the driver sitting high up. It may make it easy to see, but I like sitting more in a boat, not on it.

Nice clean lines.
The ramp is different but the functionality makes good sense. Curious how it locks when up.
I like the high helm for visibility but would prefer sitting lower out of the wind and lower would be better aesthetically. But that would be nitpicking a fine looking boat
Good job Wes.

Boat looks great!!
I like it alot better with out the add on swim step platform.
If that white/red boat was set up as is when I looked at it a couple months back I very well could be the owner of a Trident.(The Ilmor looks bitchin in the engine bay)
Good job Wes!!:)

I like the front ramp. It would be nice to be able to hide a little from the wind.

The boat deffinantly looks sweet!! couldn't get any better for a deckboat as far as entertaining, speed/plane, and styling goes! I honestly think it looks better than almost all the deckboats out there... most of them just look like modified cats.
and is it possible that he is standing up? I would want the seat a little lower.

i'd like to stick to my roots but i'd go teauge/ilmore, unless there is improvements with the jets by then:)

I'm pretty sure the seat is elevated because there is a row of seating directly in front of the driver. If they were at the same height, people in the front seat would obstruct the view of the driver.
I think the design is shockingly tight.

I guess Wes if off the boards for a while. All the Haters and such.
I did not care for the looks on the first one. I did see this one at Barrett-Jackson for a quick minute and I like it much better.
I could easily own one of this latest generation (maybe not financially) if that is what I was looking for.
Just an opinion. It was free and carries no residual value:)

I think the seat looks a little high also but understand his reasoning owning a deck myself but doesn’t somebody make power height adjustable seats. Not that Wes would use it, I’m sure he would design it himself, but that would take care of the seat height problem.

It's an Illmore 550 with a Teague Platinum drive.

A tuna tower control station would be needed with that many up front.....:)
And a huge locker to hold all the pfd's....
