We are renting a Class C RV and heading to the Blue Water on Friday for vehicle inspection and Media check-in. Then off to Bouse Camp Friday night and Saturday for viewing, camping and photo shoots, etc.
If you see the RV be sure to say hi. You can't miss it. It is a cab over 25 footer with RENT ME all over it from Cruise America. :D

There is a main spectator area on Shea Road.
Go past the Chevy dealer south of Parker. Make a left and go out about 8 miles, behind "P" mountain.
Anywhere along the wash, you can see the action.

BC, is that better watching than behind the DMV?

BC, is that better watching than behind the DMV?
They've changed the configuration in the area behind the MVD. Due to the airport expansion, the "gauntlet" that used to be out there is no more, and that area is the main pit.
Speeds are kept way down back there now.

Dude it was like days of thunder out there, Thats what our first driver had to say about the 15-18 car pile up he threaded the needle thru at race mile 3-4.
We lost a radiator hose early on and tossed a motor. $2.00 part stopped our hard work but at least it was something simple. Another Jeepspeed car was totaled in the pile up, I'm surprsed he walked away from the crash. DJR was just happy to make the starting line and everything else was gravy after that. Car runs great, the suspension is amazing for a Jeepspeed car and we passed 7 cars in the first 18 miles. We estimate we we're running in first out of 25 +/- Jeepspeeds when the motor let go. Mark Underwood our driver said he was babying the car at that speed and had plenty more so we figure we might have a runner on our hands.
This was the most fun I have had at a desert race hands down. Parker 425 race was a complete blast, and I can't wait till next year.
We will have a complete write up in a day or two at www.rockbuggysupply.com

I guess the pile up was pretty bad, that jeep was wasted:sqeyes: we were a few pits down from them. we went down and talked to them, they are lucky as you said.
Robbie Gordon was awesome:D coming around the turns and getting a lot of air.
I enjoyed the way they have a track on the other side of the pits so we could see some racing:D

It was a great race. We saw some of the aftermath of the pile up.
We were all over the race course and took over 2000 pictures and 90 minutes of solid action video of over 200 short clips with lots of passing, big air and even 2 big silt sinkers. I'll post a few pics and sort through rest during the week.

Robby rolled outside of our pit, broken driveline.
One of our kids picked him up in a rhino, he wanted a ride back to his pit, so I drove him.
As we're driving to the TT pits, the conversation went something like this...
Robbie "Can you take me back to my pit?"
Me "Sure, where is it?"
Robbie "You don't know where my pit is?"
Me "No, don't you know where your pit is?"
Robbie "No, I've never been here before."
Me "Wait a minute, don't you own a house here?"
Robbie "Yes, but I've never been to this pit, I got in at pit 1"
Me "Oh, alright, we'll just keep driving till we find it..."
Fortunately some flat billers knew where his pit was...

Well I'm glad you made it outta there. Sounds like it'll be some great footage. Next time I go I'm gonna stay out of the pits and find a better (less dusty) place to watch. Preferably in some whoop infested area so we can really see everything run.
