So what size blower did you get..and when's it going on... :confused: Sangster, it's an 8-71 Mooneyham. I was gonna pull apart the engine today to change to blower pistons and have the crank cut for a dual keyway but I F'ed up my back pretty bad this morning and can barely move :( . I will be working on finding/installing strut braces and V-drive braces first, then adding a Whirlaway, and then the motor goes in. Hopefully it will be in the water with a blown engine within the next 3-4 weeks :D .

FYI- When running a solid drive line in a circle boat their is a reason your v-drive does not have angle braces, but it does depend on a couple of things. You definatly need a strut brace though.
