Just wondering what speeds have been achieved with the 19' Shadow.
There's a couple of guys i boat with on the river that have standard layup 19-shadows that run hard. One has a nitrous-fed big block that runs 122+ the other runs right at 100 mph.
I've run mine to 127 mph with no problems. great running boats. :)

Thanks for the feedback, What horsepower do you need for above 110mph.? Currently I am about 1000hp. 13:1 compression. Help!! Outboards are comming to get me!!

1000HP should push you right around 110 mph or more if the rest of the boat is set up correctly. your motor should make that boat run real good.

Cyclone, I am currently at 110mph with a 200shot of N.O.S. - pump has been done by Jack McClure. and a few other mods. What does it take to get to 127mph?

Just curious..............are the Stealths a little on the fat side of the scale? It just seems like a true 1000 h/p should push that hull more than 110 if the hull and pump are set up correctly. I was thinking mid to upper teens. Im not bagging on anyone, it just seems like alot of h/p for the speed in that hull. Also, how much different is the Ultra compared to the TPR?

As far as I know, the Stealth Edge and the Ultra Shadow are different, possibly weight. I am not sure exactly what the weight of the Hull is. Someone at Ultra can tell us what the weight of the hull is.

Most of the Ultra Shadows that I know of are on the fat side. Set up as lake boats not drag boats. Like my 19' Shadow that I had, you could walk all over it and it did not flex on bit. It was layed up toward the 700 lb mark if I remember correctly.

Most of the Shadow's i've seen are on the heavy side because they are laid up as lake boats that you could drive pretty much anywhere, even havasu. Mine was purposely laid up lighter because i wanted to drag race it. For example, most Shadows have 2x6-inch stringers and mine are 1x3-inch tall. My boat has 1/4-inch thick bulkheads and no wood in the transom or gunnels. The boat is strong enough to walk on the deck because of the curves built into the design of the hull but you can't walk anywhere else on it.
127 mph took 1050 hp, a 486 pound hull, a blueprinted keel by Tom Papp, two fiberglass bucket seats, no interior to speak of, a mostly stock Aggressor jet pump and about 10 gallons of gas on board.

Tommy laid up most of his Stealths for guys that wanted to go fast so they were lighter than most other boats. The last 10 or so that I saw built were all around 420 lbs. Many were built from carbon fiber and kevlar so that they were real strong. The bottom design of the Stealth is different than the Shadow in the keel area and in the last 6 feet of running surface. The reliefs along the keel are different and so is the distance from the bottom of the sponsons to the keel. The differences are minor, but they are there nonetheless. And of course the decks are completely different.

No, i think you meant the ULTRA shadow limited something or other, its not a Stealth Mike. ultra already makes a stealth and i think its a BIG boat, am i right in my thinking John?

We do make a Stealth but that is our V bottom model. The shadow is our tunnel boat line.
