If you liked Avaid pans, you'll love Armando's. He was the "man" at Avaid. Avaid sold, Armando now does his own thing in a little hole in the wall shop deep in LA....Yes, we ran one in the PS89 boat for a long time. Windowed it, bought a Dooley very reasonable from Jeff Wooton, which has also worked quite well. I took 2 windowed pans to Armando for repair, one Avaid and one "who knows". He repaired both with new uppers and trays, one new pick up and had them both zinc plated. (I think, they're silver, not gold). Our new PS motor will have the repaired Armando's/Aviad on it.........He is the Man....Ray

It's out of my hands Wayne... Art is busy with Jon's boat so I'm not sure if we will get it done in time. Been busy gathering parts though... I'm striping the chrome off of the rudder today. That hurts since it is brand new...

This is most likely the question they will ask (engine installed).
"Hi Bob,
I can build the oil pan for your boat, with extra capacity, trap doors, windage tray and pick up, please let me know what is the max depth it could be made at the front and rear of engine. The price is $380.00 + Shipping
Thank you,
Elizabeth"

They also asked us what kind of starter we were going to use. That way he could put the biggest kickout in it he could fit around the starter.

Hey Tony, I use Jeff Johnsons Billet Fab pans on most of my drag cars. But I have never used one on a boat. I have two with the baffle balls, and a few without. Work great for the applications I use, but with the boat deal, I am going Armando.
If you would like any other info, PM me or give me a call, or e-mail.

Pan from Jeff? In the season, it takes about two weeks to be completed and a half a week for shipping.
In the offseason where everyone is ordering everything new, it takes about four weeks and then shipping. And the weird thing is they show up at the front door, and I never heard a word that they were done, or getting ready for shipping, etc.
Just *PLOP* "Here I am"

The very idea Tony!! I happen to know that even though it was very expensive, Art gave Steve the Signalphaser II for the mag at absolute cost. No mark up at all. Also the Net for the hat butterflies, at cost!! How could you even think Art might be getting over on the parts??.........Be careful Tony, If Art thinks of YOU and pulls a single hair out of his head, you'll be looking folicly challenged like me by Bakersfield!!!!!!......MP
