where did my e-mail contacts go?

Does anyone know where your e-mail contacts go after you update your internet explorer to the latest version? I used to have a mail icon at the top of the page that I would click on to access e-mail and all my contacts, but now since update that is gone. Need to e-mail someone but can't find address book and that is only place I had their address.

Top bar where the buttons are for "file, edit, view, favorites, etc" open "view", then "toolbars" in the dropdown menu. Click where it says "customize", and you can add or subtract the icons in the toolbar.
