I guees I got some illegal contraband then. I walked into the show arond 10:30, and bought a beer from the guy next to DCB.

My buddy (I think he is my buddy) "Instigator" nails me at about 40mph in the back and drills me all the way to the concrete floor. I think my head snapped all the way back to my ass. All I heard was "OOOOHHHHHH" from the bystanders. I could barely pick myself up after that. "Hello, Security!" No one was there to help. Then I dust myself off and realize it was a friend. Huh! I thought they cut you off after 12 beers?
That's OK though. His wife offered to "rub me down later" where it hurt. Ouch, I am really sore now. I better go call her. Ha!

I got a good buzz sunday right after WYRD and I found that the bar was serving PATRON...we killed that bottle and went after the one on the second floor...and if DANA can get the "32" going..I might have a new boat :cry:

I too got some jerky (not by Dave though)... From the Jerky Hut and a couple of Top Knot keychains. Oh yeah, and an overpriced salad and some brochures I didn't really want and; surprisingly, a look at a couple of boats I could have sworn I saw last year?!? Same old places, a few new faces and of course a lot of the same old SH*T. Of course annoyed by all the "tourists" who like to FINGER F*CK every boat they walk by and so on and so on. But, I wouldn't change a thing and I'll be going at least 1 more time before it ends... :rollside:

Purchased new dock lines & anchor line from Top Knot. Was gonna buy a box anchor from slide anchor but didn't feel like dragging it around th show.

Did anyone check out he Dana Marine Box Anchor knock-offs? I thought they looked pretty cool, but was concerned with their size. Usually when we throw our Box Anchor, other boats raft up, so the bigger the better.
My other concern was the powdercoated surface. If it gets scratched, like it will through normal use, will you end up with a rusty mess?
