I remember when Oakley didn't even have glasses. Remember Oakley BMX grips? I had every model they made on my BMX bikes.

I had a pair of these glasses as well (in grey). They were given to me by a friend when I started racing road bikes.... I think they were called Oakley Pilots. Looked like goggles. They were out before Blades or any of that new skool crap...LOL

I had a pair of their first version of their goggles, which I think was the first product they made. Even had a cool rainbow stripe goggle strap! Remember the grips well too.

I worked the parts counter at a local Honda motorcycle dealership when those came out. You forgot to add pics of the first Oakley gloves, I had the blue ones with the white knuckle protectors... they would turn your entire hand blue from the die in the leather..... yep im getting old!
then remember when the first AXO gloves came out, I sold the shitz outa those. And they all fell apart. :(

Wow!!! I remember all those (as I'm sure many here do). I had a Super Goose (Mongoose) with Tuff Wheels II.... Busted them up and went with Arraya rims with Suzie Hubs... I Boy did I think I was hot sh1t. I also had to go buy some of those "top-o-da-line" Oakley grips really set the bike off with a futuristic look. :D

my first bike diomand back with mushroom grips was stolen thank god. heavy bike. so then came
my race bike that was custom built (bandito) still were the oakley grips but they had little suction grip all over them pro neck uni seat, snake belly sew up tires which were tubeless and was stretched then rubber cemented to the rims and vans shoes were the best to wear as they gripped the peddles well.
id be supprised if my bike broke over 7 lbs. which is amazing. i use to race all up and down the west coast from kirkland washington to san diego ca. sad to see that most of the tracks have disappeared. my home track was coal caynon bmx on the boarder of corona and yorba linda. near the damn. anyone remember that? or how about norco's snipes bmx that one was pretty good. it was at the park of hamner. it was down hill fast track
i tried to do it agian but i was to out of shape. i rode an elf as a teen. alot heavier.
i hope that i can give my kid the bike weather male or female and get them into the sport. i only know of a few tracks left. one in ontario on 4th one in hesperia. and i think one at lake perris. i wonder if moreno valley is still going?
