Does anyone have an idea the price of one new with a 496 HO?

You would have to call Al over at John's Custom Marine for an accurate price. Last time I checked with him, I believe that one with a 500h.p. was right at 80K nicely equipped.

If that is what you can afford, go for it. Should push the boat really well. I would guess that you could see right at 90 in it during ideal conditions. 90mph out of a boat with a warranty is not too bad!

I think 500 HP would be about right for that hull.
90-100mph and you still have a warranty and the ability to get insurance.:)
How many Stokers are made each year?:)
