I will also ask here but don't know how many Hot Boat peeps will now about GPS units. I started a thread on OSO but I haven't had many responses there either.
I want to take out my glove box and flush mount a GPS unit in a polished billet and purple piece of aluminum. The metal fabrication and powdercoating part and is not a problem but I need some advise on what type of GPS unit to get.
I want a large screen size of 5" or 6" plus like a Garmin or Standard Horizon.
Anybody know what unit is a good one to get?

This is what I have http://www.navman.com/Navman/Templates/productinformation____22179.aspx
It is also a fishfinder. If you have smartcraft you can buy a gateway that will read everything a bout your engine. It also pulls the codes off it. Pretty cool.
