Conquest sent me over some updated pics and says the boat should be ready for delivery this Friday. We should be on the lake sometime Friday and I would imagine Saturday also. Hope to see someone from the boards on the water. I will have cold ones for anyone who wants to drop in.

Great looking boat. I think you will really enjoy it. I good buddy of mine got his in Sep this year. Similar gel design but with red white and black. He got the 496 ho and promptly put a whipple on it. Runs about 80 now. Great boat to spend the day on.

Water level is a little low, about 446+ whereas summer is normaly 448+ so going upstream be careful, not saying dont do it but just be careful. Be the pits to F-up that new boat or more to the point the prop!!. NSF

I think I will stay clear of the shallow stuff until I can follow someone who knows exactly where to roll thru. I'll stick with the lake & channel until I can follow someone up river.

My family has made great friends throughout this entire process. Keith, Candy, Mike, Jodi have taken us in and made us feel like family.
The kids were tired of the Hot Rod & sled but the Suburban on the other hand is going to stay around unless someone has a large stash somewhere. Everything is for sale for the right price.
Gotta thank Denny for taking me down to Conquest and taking those cars off my hands to get me into this deal. Plus those cars look awesome in his garage. I will get some shots of them this weekend. Should be a great weekend on the boat, but COME ON SUMMER..

What GM accessories do you want? Of course it has all the ORIGINAL SEATS in mint condition. Its got the tissue holder, fan on the colum, compass, redhead flashlight, lighted vanity mirror, GM gas cap, fog lights, 47 plates with the 49 tags, original hat holder with the hat, Fulton traffic view finder and a few other rare accessories I have picked up along the way. Engine is a 235 with dual carbs, fenton headers, straight piped, pretty tricked out and by far ONE of the loudest 6 cylinder chevys I have heard. All most too loud if such a thing.
No one in their right mind is going to pull out some dough for this Suburban. I paid a TON of $$$$ for it and have added along the way. I am the 3rd owner and I am its going to stick around for a while. Like I said someone has to come up with some serious coin.

Speaking of middle seat here is a picture of it.. This suburban came out of Ostrom Chevrolet in Montebello as I am the 3rd owner, and has been in California its entire life. The paint is original on it from 49. Its by the far the funnest automobile I have owned and I have went thru a few hand fulls of them.

You definitely have had some badass rides. What year bug is that 1959? You are alot like my husband and I. We like a little of everything those wagons are really nice. Those Pontiac's have a lot of character. I had looked at one a couple of years ago. Right now all I need to complete my collection is a 1936 Cadillac series 75 duel side mount and a 1958 Chevy convertible and a 1936 Pontiac hearse duel side mount. The 66 hearse is all I have cut loose. I also have a 1958 2 door hard top, 1960 Chevy convertible, 1961 Chevy SS convertible, 1962 Chevy SS convertible , 1965 Chevy SS convertible and 1963 Chevy SS 2 door hard top all of them Impalas and a 54 Chevy Suburban.

The bug is a 58. You are right about the Pontiacs having a lot of character. When I restored it 6 years ago the chrome & stainless about broke me. One day I will own a 63 Impala Convertible just like Doughboys in Boyz N the Hood. I had a 64 Impala SS but got rid of it a few years back. I don't get attached to many cars but like picking them up, rolling them for a few months/years, and then turning them for something else.
