Currently @ Howard Boats in Valencia, CA. 496HO, 70hrs, immaculate inside and out, BIG stereo, 3 batteries, 3 amps, triple axel Ellis trailer with stainless fenders, swing tongue, needs 32' garage minimum, $125,000 to replace, $105,000 firm. Yes Bobby we are keeping the house. We are not done boating or going to Havasu we just found a REALLY nice house that we would need to cut back a bit to afford. Thanks again for the blue plug. Nick

But it won't go quick because the used custom performance boat market is soft. In order to sell you have to basically drop the price and give it away to some bottom feeder. Just my .02. Nice boat!

Looks like we're going to make ours into an open bow and see if that will help with the sale. The closed bow maket is few and far between. If it doesn't sale, at least we have the open bow for our daughter this year (since she doesn't take naps anymore) Plus we can wait another year and get exactly what we want in regards to options and such. If I could move on yours right now, I would step up. It's a gorgeous boat and a great price. I'm sure that if anyone has priced out a new one, they'd see that........
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. We went and drooled at the house we want again today but there is no way we can afford that house without the boat selling. Maybe we could eat top ramen and taco bell for the next few years but that doesn't sound very fun. Our summer will begin like normal the first weekend in April so if the boat doesn't sell plan on seeing us then and most of the summer after that. Powell for a week in August is the only time we won't be in Havasu with the boat.

Thanks John. We have had a few calls but I think we are going to end up keeping our house and the boat because the numbers aren't adding up in our favor. Our house has lost equity that we were counting on so negative cash flow is a hinder. I will update this thread either today or tomorrow with final decisions. Nick

I remember that like it was yesterday. I agree, either way it will be fine. We have money now to fix up a few things @ home that will make our house the way we want it minus more room. We have all the toys we want, well most of them. I have to remind myself somtimes how charmed my life is for the most part.

Sorry about the ups and downs of this thread but we have made a definitive choice to keep everything (Havasu house and boat) and just sell our house and buy a more modest residence here. We are not done going to the river and would regret selling everything in the long run. Thanks for everyones positive input and offers of rides for the summer. Nick

We are really looking forward to summer and I am sure glad we decided to keep the boat. We are maxed out on our garage with this boat so unless I did away with the master closet the 35' Bullet ain't gonna fit.
Now the good news is we already have someone interested in our house and we have 2 that we like in our NEW price range so hopefully we can get this done before summer. Thanks again for everyones input and spring is right around the corner. Nick
