I can't keep these fricken things in stock. Super cool bike for the money (under 10k). They came out a few weeks back as a 2007 1/2 model.
I look like a monkey humpping a football because the are pretty small, but for a guy or girl that isn't over 6 foot and 200 lbs, it would be a kick arse little town rocket that looks old school bobber.
BTW, the red thing under the fender is just a reflector stuck on with double sided tape. They look clean without it.
The XL 1200N Nightster features:
Rubber-mounted 1200cc XL Evolution engine
Medium Gray powder-coated engine with polished and black treatments
Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI)
High-compression, high-flow cylinder heads
High-performance cams
Smooth, quiet transmission
Light clutch lever effort
25.3-inch solo seat height
Low front and rear suspension
Black front forks with gaiters
Bullet hole rear belt guard and front fender clamps
Black, low rise handlebar with brake and clutch levers, turn signals and air cleaner insert
Side-mounted license plate holder (dealer-installed rear mount option)
Brake and tail lights integrated with rear turn signals
Black mid-mount foot controls
Black-rimmed, Laced Steel wheels
Chrome staggered shorty slash cut dual exhaust
Silver Satin finish fuel cap, headlamp trim ring and oil dipstick cover
Optional Smart Security System

I saw one the other day and was wondering what it was....I thought it looked great and I believe it had different bars.
first glance I thought Yamaha but after catching him at a red light I saw the dealer plates and HD emblems.
Do they scoot pretty good? How is the breaking/handling?

The new fuel injected 1200's are great. I can't ride anything but F/I now.
They are faster than most stock big twins. The 1200/883 is super reliable, torquey, and very smooth (due to the rubber mounting that started in 04).
Brakes were upgraded in 04 as well. Personally I would have liked to seen dual front disc.
Handleing. Sportys have always been on top in terms of handling (in the HD world). You can get it low enough to drag your knee with stock tires and stock suspension set up. :D
