We sat out there for a couple hour yesterday and watched. I have to say the last race of the day with Todd Haig was awesome. He was flat out hauling!!!

How would one get started in doing this?
I like to water ski, but am getting bored and I don;t want to wake board. This might be the next step for me. What kind of boat should I look at getting, and how fast do they go?

Boats: 21 ft. Schiada, Hallet, Nordic, Cyclone are very popular. I believe boats 26' and under are allowed for Marathon Racing.
Speeds: 40-50mph entry level to 100+ there should be a class to suite you.
