Sorry I missed the delta lunch run, looks like it was a good time. The weather was awesome, and we(Sacramento Yacht Club) drug 28 boats up to the Old Sacramento guest dock instead. Stayed from friday until sunday. Great fun, heres a few pics..............

The power to weight ratio is not very good, lets see...........
28 boats X 750 HP =21,000 HP
28 boats at 20,000 Lbs each= 560,000 LBS.
we got about 26.7 lbs per HP..............
$hit, we need more HP! Time to supercharge the Carver! Sorry, I'm bored at work!:)

I haven't been down to the river at this time of the year and haven't seen this before. Is that a 2nd dock over there on the right-hand side of this pic? Is that new or do they take it out later in the year as the water level goes down.

That is the section of dock that is normally under the bridge, I think they remove it so it doesnt get stuck under the bridge when the water goes up. It helps us too, we can get the taller boats into the inside of the dock:) Great party, cant wait for the next one.
