I`ve pressure tested the engine to 20 pounds for 1 hour and it didn`t leak down any according to the air gauge, but I`m still getting water in oil, its about 2 quarts above full on the dip stick. Could the water be getting thru the water pump shaft? Anyone have any suggestions before I tear down the engine. its a bbc. RCM

Maybe you have a crack that opens when the motor gets hot.

I had the same problem & when it warmed up the water would go through the exaust valve guide seals. Hope it helps. Mike

Ratacole, you may be right, the heads have had a valve job and I haven`t had these heads on a motor before, the block was used on a different set up and it didn`t have any problems so it could be these heads that I bought so cheap and then I spent a load to get them fixed. RCM
