I am looking into purchasing a propeller for my '22 Schiada through Ron Braaksma or RBR and was wondering if anyone on here has had experience with his work and craftsmanship. With vast drag boat knowledge I would imagine he knows a fair amount about setting up a propeller. I am thinking of going heat treated steel instead of stainless with regard to durability.

I didn't price a steel prop from Mekens. Only priced stainless and I almost fell down. I think I am going to go heat treated steel for the durability as I have heard that some stainless props can fling an ear and cause major problems.

Stainless isn't known for its tensile or elongation properties.

Rocket Ron Braaksma is the man with the Biggest Wavos to ever hit the H20.
Back in the Day...........Fans would get Goose bumps to watch his Madness #726 Deaver Hull TFH take on the likes of Clinton Anderson in Fatal Attraction or Gordon Pagents Final Effort or Kyle Walker in the Spirit of America or evn the Great Gary Kincaid in his awesome pink Top Gun TFH.
He also had to do battle against Tom CAntrell's Beautiful Noise, Jay's Whiskey River, and The Legendary Tom Black-Precision Props. Ron and Tom were close and when Tom Passed, Ron bought the prop biz., now RBR props.
Ron was the one who brought Thundrrrrrr to the Liquid Quarter Mile!!!
Oh Yeah!!! He's the Man Brother!!!

Ron is a wealth of information, I visit him from time to time and he is good at what he does, I own 2 of his props and wouldn't buy another one from no-one else. and once again it is personal preference:D

Ron is a straight up guy, you cannot go wrong with him. I have had 3 props re-worked by him and they come back like new everytime. He is as nice and helpful as can be, you wont go wrong.

Ron has done my last two props for my Schiada's and have done everything that he said they would do! Lee @ Schiada has also installed his props on the last few boats that have come out of his shop.

You can also try Harold Kindsvater... running a deal on props this month, at least that is what I read in the V-drive club news letter.

Dallas at Menkins propellers does good stuff with Schiada props.
Bentley at Menkens v-drives does good stuff
And you can't go too far wrong with Ron and his RBR props.
Definitely three that know their stuff and know that boat.
