Just got thru checking out the traders, craigslist, recyclers and the like and its not even march yet and they are packed full of boats. Even driving up and down the local roads i see boats and pwc's starting to pop-up on the corners. It just may be a good year to pick up some killer deals on some nice stuff. :D
I am not planning on buying this year but it sure is tempting :jawdrop:

They can't all be upgrading, can they? I wish no bad times for anybody but it seems simple that a lot of people are over-extended.
Good luck to any of you in that boat....no pun intended :)

dont forget..... that you will see more and more DCB's every year, as he only makes 35 or so boats a year. it would make sense that we are starting to see the DCB section getting larger. How many pages of Eliminators are there??? more than two id guess. ;)
http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.com/browse-184-0.html 10 DCB's for sale.
http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.com/browse-187-0.html 43 Eliminators

I was dealing with a guy on a used boat and basiclly he took a bath on the boat and wanted me to pay 5k over NADA Average Retail because that is what he owed.
Sorry.. no deal.

I would not put much faith in NADA values for a used custom boat. I have found that it is often fairly low on the price compared to what some boats actually sell for. Obviously depends on the specific boat and its desireability.

No
There is buying power in numbers.
I almost invested in a fractional ownership program for a 1/19 cut of a Bayliner. They refused to sell me one cuz I like the Rams, and not the Raiders. They also pointed out the lack of bad, pitbull prison tatts as a deciding factor.
:D :D

Didn't see any f-26 for sale, that could be a good sign. Thinking of putting mine back on the market. Just can't seem to find the energy to use it:idea: Every year I get less excited about dealing with the crowds.
