I deleted it myself. I'll tell you why.
As you know I stepped down from the moderator role here. (I still see my name's up there but oh well)
Anyway that thread turned into an advertiser bashing thread. With that in mind and the fact that my name is still at the top of the forum. If (and when) the thread got reported it would/will come to my e mail box. So I just deleted it before I got another note from the lady advertiser. I don't wish them any harm and I still like this web site as far as a social thing goes. I just don't want the political stuff coming my way is all.
But hey, when I start my own business all I have to do is place an ad. Then if ya'll bash me I can get the advertising department to get it all deleted. :D

They're just enforcing the policies that make this website a more enjoyable reading experience for young and old. There shall be no critisizm of advertizers, potential advertizers or anything else that doesn't please them.
Rexone... The moderators enforce the policies of the website ownership only Rio. Nothing to do with being an enjoyable reading experience and having no critisizm of advertizers allowed couldn't be further from the truth. In this intance perhaps (but not by any of your loathed moderators, but by the webmaster under direction of the sites owner), but typically not true. As far as moderating anything else that doesn't please us, bullshit again...you don't see me editing your posts out do you?
So answer me this. If they censor honest critique of something that apply's to the boating community BUT they seem to think it's A-OK to have posts linked to some of the most PORNAGRAPHIC CRAP that ever came out of the mind of someone that doesn't even own a damn boat- then what does that tell you about THEM?
Rexone... It tells you absolutey nothing about THEM Rio. Like stated above, we follow the rules and directives of the webmaster, not our own rules. To date porn links are not dissallowed because that's the directive we have. In case you haven't noticed there seems to be quite a contingent of members around you that seem to enjoy them.

Riodog Riodog the advertisers are the reason why we have this great forum idea If I had paid money to advertise my business here the last thing I would except is bad press idea I support Dave 100% in quiting if there not going to back him up burningm I dont know about you but I;ve met some great people because of this forum and have a greater network of great suppliers to get things done for my boat :cool: Just my 2 cents
