don't use pro comps xterenes they ride like crap are loud and wear out fast
using the firestones destinations 33 12/50's by and like them so far. they are a mix between the bfgs and all the other brands. aggressive yet smooth and quiet. good luck

I would say go Toyo M/T's, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Kumho M/T's.

Toyo muds look sick. but kinda wear out fast.
My buddy is running 40s on 20s. Mickey Thompson ATZ. They ride really nice on the street.

2 choices: Toy muds or Kumho KL-71. Both have a quiet ride with great looks. I like the looks of the toyos better, but the Kumhos have an amazingly quiet ride and handle well on the street.
DO NOT buy Nitto Mud Grapplers for the street...loud as an airplane and ride terribly.

I have the nitto mud grapplers in a 38" already but the stopped making them in that size on 18" rims. I guess I will be choosing toyo's or kumho-71. thanks for the advise.

BFG wore terrible on our 2500hd. (36" on 20" wheels)
Kumhos M/T are doing much better now.

Fun country II is what I run. The Mickey Thompan ATZ is nice also. Toyos are good to, just get the correct load range, which a lot do not.

I have been through them all, but have had the best luck with BFG all terrains. I have always seen well over 80k miles out of them and they were always quiet.

Having run all of the above at one point or another I'd go Nitto A/T.....I've not run Kumho's and would stay with brand name....But I've run BFG M/T..A/T....Goodyear Suck too soft wear fast, However on my 02 F-350 BFG M/T lasted a quiet 18-20 K then wife complained too noisy, went Nitto a/t sold truck and sold tires to my buddy, still had good tread and the tires had 40k on them..they wore well and suprisingly have good traction off-road, he still has then and now with 50k and pulls great in sand, I'm currently driving an 06 f-350 with 18k on Nitto A/T great wear and quiet....In all these years knock on wood ...No flats on either BFG or Nitto....Wedge:D :D :D

nice rims!
ive had those on my silverado and i have them on my f250 now. never really liked the way the slip so much in the rain. i think i got more sliding with the chevy, maybe it was because of the less weight. i hydroplaned thing into the wall on the 57 freeway in orange ...OPPS! .. i had the toyos on the chevy after..seemed to grip more in rain. but the BFs sure do last the longest!
i wanna lift my truck and put some 37's on it but i hate to throw these tires away with only 11k miles on them. they still look brand new

Those BFG's on our H2 hold up great. My Diesel 2500HD they went fast. I think I got about 25k miles before they were gone.

Ya, me neither. The H2 isn't that much lighter and I bet they are 50% at 35k miles. On the 2500HD they were dangerously bald at 25k.
