Alright I'm having a hard time getting over transom headers. Anyone make boat upswept headers that's not a rip off? What about some dragster headers modified for a boat? Anyone... got a BBF

Yeah I called them, they don't carry them in stock, they have to custom make them which means $$$$$

I am running Hedman dragster upswept headers in my boat.
They look real nice.
I am trying to upload pictures right now and ***boat isn't cooperating.

You can order them raw and add tubes for water if you want to run them wet.
I ordered mine from Summit, I am sure Jegs has them also.

How did you get them to run wet? What kind of stuff do I need to do to weld up some water to them? And p.s. trying to sell my 1970 dodge challenger r/t se 440-six pack if you know some mopar guys... gotta love mopar

I wish, Barrett-Jackson has killed my chance on ever owning those cars in my lifetime.
I run mine dry, I will use these headers in my flat and have some made in the same style for the jet.
They are a little too close to the transom. My Anthony has some seriously high gunnels.
To run them wet you will need to weld bungs to use a standard wet setup you could buy from Basset or Rewarder I am sure.
Any good welding shop could do it for you.
If you were closer, I would handle it for you. Easy job

What's the difference of running them wet and running them dry? And how do you run yours dry?

They're supposedly quieter wet. To run them dry you just turn off the water to them.

Got a price quoted for $1100 today from rewarder. All fittings, upswept, and coated. Is that a good price?

I think you are pretty close.
I think I paid 800 for mine(hedman), dry, no fittings. The coating didn't last very long either.
