Anybody know what the correct prop slip % is for a 2002 280 Powerquest Sliencer?
I want to try a few different props but want it work on paper first.

the motor is a 496 mag

I'm almost 100% he was trying to be helpfull...
You seem like you're new to the boards so I'll explain how it works, there are different forums for different types of boats, and you would probably get a more informed answer in the out-drive section.
I would guess your slip is somewhere between 15%-20%, depending on your prop and the efficiency of your hull

Um ... I don't think that he was being rude ... just prop slip calculations on a v-drive are different than on an out drive ...

i thought it said v-bottom.
