My friend had said he weighed his with pump and it weighed 276lbs. I might believe him because that hull is SO shallow, but you can't stand up anywhere ontop of it because we're afraid we'll break through the hull. Are your guys crusader's pretty quick?

What kind of weight is your 18ft lookin at? And what kind of hp/mph are you guessing? I kinda want to find a crusader but they're kinda rare.

325lbs? Damn that's light! We wanted to get another hull cause we're afraid of the intergrity of his, it's pretty old and it's done a lot of drag thrashing. It's got a blown 427 BBC. His flies but I'm trying to get some info from other people...

Dude that is really light. 276 lbs. with a jet-drive is extremly light, was that with a complete jet or just the intake??

That's with the complete jet and interior seats(which don't weight much at all). But he wants to have someone build him the exact same hull because this one's a little scary. It hauls a$$ with only bout 650hp, we've beat tons of boats claiming 90+ mph hour. But it is just kind of scary not knowing how much more that hull can handle... that's why I'm lookin for some info on them

Here is the add for it on Dragboat racing.
Crusader tunnel dragboat, Light weight kevlar hull 325Lbs, Berk jet drive with stainless berk impeller and blow off valve, Pump has 5 passes on it, Was just all redone. Boat has a 7AL MSD with a launch control and timing retard. Boat is on a dolly trailer. Boat comes with rail kit and motor plates. Lots of extra hardware for the pump. The boat runs 9.0s all day long and won the 2005 T/E class at the world finals. Has run as fast as low 8s. Drop your motor in and go racing. $8500

They can be light due to the hull design makes them strong the tunnels allow you to not need andy stringer. Here is my good friends 420lb crusader laying down a 97mph pass on the juice
