Heading out at 7 am Sat. Have a buddy who is willing to go help test and tune but has a prior obligation at noon so got to get there, run around the lake 4 or 5 times, check for leaks, see if the 12X15 prop I bolted on is more in the ballpark with my gear ratio and pull her out and head home. 78 Eliminator-I will probably be just pulling out when you are heading in. Dmonzta are you going to Elsinore or Bakersfield?

bordsmj Jason- How are you man? Thanks for the compliment on the boat. It has been a lot of work but has turned out great. Hopefully we can get a trip put together with you guys next summer.
Dmonzta- The boat will be here for about another month to finish up the last of this years list. She ran great yesterday but I think Im still off on the prop. With the 12x15 elephant ear it lugged alot coming up on plane. I need to plan a day of testing with 4 or 5 propellers. I have a driveline vibration that produces some noise under load at around 1900 rpm and I am 99% SURE THE DRIVESHAFT IS OUT OF BALALNCE. I'm going to pull it out this afternoon and run it over to OC driveline next week for balalncing and new U joints. I ran yesterday with the new 850 and the distributor recurved so all I need to do now is address the vibration, vent the fuel tanks, nailed down the propeller and its pretty much done for the season. How was Bako?

Travis. Bakersfield was super fun, seeing friends and meeting new friends. It was real fun crewing for the P-37 boat, Gary and Jeff Sornborger are great guys and more proof why this sport is so great.
I will be in Parker with the P-37 boat as well, Gary and Jeff liked the job Me and My Dad did and want us back, he was happy with my Dad as a rider as well and he will continue to ride in the cracker. It took him 30 minutes to settle down after the race, he said it was better than sex! :D lol
