All the advertizing fluff aside, (and Jane's lying stupidity ignored) I believe the reccord-holding pumps are Aggressors/Berkleys/Dominators, and the add says they service and sell parts for, these brands of pumps. It doesn't say that they tune the pumps in the fastest race-boats.
Just so happens tho that I know one guy who does just that tho, and has the trophy history to back it up. :D

(It's not Rat's) GP even rode in the boat and said there was nothing wrong with anything and sounded good.:eek: This is the same type of loader that GP loaned to Rat for the summer in hopes that he would buy it. If Rat did not like it for whatever reason just send it back. This is what GP himself told me when he wanted me to try a loader out and I said no that's ok but thanks for the kind offer. Yes the "support tab" weld on that loader appears to have failed. This is the FIRST time any of my welds have Failed on my loaders, I have manufactured over 75 of these loaders to date.
As stated in the ARS sales receipt>>>
"ARS Marine Inc. warrants all ARS manufactured parts to be free from defects in material & workmanship under normal use and if properly installed for a period of one (1) year from purchased date. High Performance equipment is considered special merchandise and if returned is subject to a minimum handling charge of 25%. Matters pertaining to warranties and/or guarantees must be resloved directly between purchaser and manufacturer. In no event shall ARS Marine Inc.be liable for any special or consequential damages".
And with that being said why is it that I never received a phone call about a support tab weld failing???:idea:

And if Tony would have brought it to my attention that the tab on the loader FAILED I would have Replaced it with no questions asked. Again I never received any inguiry about it.

4Trax If Tony come to me with that loader I would have replaced it. But he didnt. As for the impeller. I have over 800 H.P. on one of those impellers using the same Semi V Blocker loader, And no problems with cavitation.
I didnt set Tony's boat up. I did go for 1 ride in it and was impressed with how fast the boat ran YES.
At no time did I see any increase in RPM's wich would leed me to beleive he had any cavitation problem at that time.
But when he showed me the impeller the First thing Noticable was Cavitation BURN on the face of the blades.
And after seeing flocks of pictures and Stories about how the boat does wheeeelies, You can see where I come to my reply it looks like Cavitation.

That was until he asked who Tony bought it from. Then he changed his tunes and started to back peddle. Like someone called and talked to him and said a few things to him to make him change his tunes. Because he was ALL for standing behind his stuff till then. You know it's not to late to stand up and make things right with this picture.
When Tony called me and informed me that his impeller cracked I immediately contacted the manufacture. Saying I have a customer that has blew up one of your impellers can I get a NEW one? The FIRST words out of his mouth was sure I'll send it right out! BUT HE SAID HE WILL NOT COVER CAVITATION issues.

Whose calling the "Kettle Black" George? Seems you Precision impeller was cracked too! you told me it was not designed for high HP motors. Thats why you ran it so sparingly, and then you said it was the best impeller you ever ran, it got you in the 8's at SITC. There are detailed impellers out there that dig hard. By the way almost all stock pumps cavitate, to some degree, I've seen impellers that are original, with only leading edge dings, and no burns, when ran with decent HP, and your telling me you can't run aftermarket parts like this?

Those are alwful SLOW for todays standards. So how do you get worlds fastest jet pumps?
Looks like the problem was brought to your attetion at Brower Park but you would not give him the time of day, so where is the customer service?
You said yourself those impellers dont hold up on your boat, that you have to keep re welding it to keep it together. That you like them cause it let your engine rap up quick.
Some day you can make real HP and run a stainless.

FYI, I blew up a bronze and aluminum impeller with 600 ponies. If you want to prevent cavitation you need to keep the pump loaded.

Ok now Goad, your coming off like a cheerleader. First off look at the Geographic locations of any one who has said anything or had dealings, Pretty wide spread, wouldn't you say. Secondly Bad advice, no advise, good parts, bad parts, it's all part of business. This is a small niche market, where parts are expensive, and limited to whats on the market at the time. Customer service is key to any business, lack of customer service will cost all businesses, no matter what market it is.
The claim to be the worlds fastest pumps remains yet to be seen, the claimed records are from over 13 years ago, well before George had anything to do with ARS, and none are standing today. Now as far as the faulty parts, I can only tell you what I've seen, yes I've seen the cracked precision marine impeller, and yes I've seen the broken ARS loader. Both items have not been warranted, and the customer was told (face to face) "sorry dude that's cavitation" and got it handed back to him.
I think you will find I have not slandered George Pataki, or ARS, just stating the facts from what I've seen, and how this is being handle. I've bought a few things from ARS, and have had no problems personally, but then again he has refused to sell me parts, just from the fact I can perform the work my self.
He has no problems bashing other shops, or people for that matter, it's his mouth that has him in a pickle. He's made a big rift between friends and boaters alike, that's taken a long time to overcome.
Now as far as faulty parts, there is an in lying danger of a serious mishap, you know the flags that fly when a bowl or nozzle fail, but this type of stuff can cause serious injury or even death. I don't take it lightly, I don't want the next guy to suffer the same fortune either.

Normally Bench Racers is pretty much a free for all. Not sure why this thread was even started here but here we are. It involves someone's business and also some customers claims they were violated. Neither of those are normal bench racer topics. Both sides have stated their cases. So I will treat this thread just as I would if it were in one of the tech forums since in my opinion thats where it should have been posted. Add something new or its done. Beating the same dead horse post after post serves no purpose to either party or the forum in general.

ARS you did your self no favor by letting this languish &"fester" as it has over the past weeks . By standing your ground ,right or wrong I suspect you likley lost far more in this "skirmish" than the price of the parts involved if you had just "stepped up" and taken care of your customeror, negotiated to a amicable end you would have been far better off.Twenty years ago American Honda statistics were that one satisfied customer told 1,one disatisfied customer told 20, Imagine if you can concieve so how the web/internet has changed that( Astronomically) .If nothing else "take" & learn from this the experience and chose your "fights" and arguments more carefully (if at all ).
