Planning to start my install next week. So far, I've planned to install a pair of the Memphis Audio MA8, 8" coaxial speakers under the front jump seats, facing rearward. They will replace the 15 year old, blown out crap that is here now. :)

Under the console, if I do it JUST right, there is room for 4 - 6x9's. Not sure I want to go that extreme though. Here's a pic where you can see where there is one speaker now. That panel is 11" tall x 33" wide. To put 4 6x9's in there would take about all of it, angled just right.

I could do another pair of the 8" coaxials or their 6.5" coaxials too. Not sure what to do. Suggestions?

Would put the speakers all the way up and on the sides looks like you got enough room for the 6.5s up there(imo sound better than the 8s or the 6x9s.)
The stock location looks perfect for a sub

The stock location is about 1/4" fiberglass. Way to thin for subs. The subs will go in the base of the front seat, which is part of the front of the console...but that's later. :)
