A mini regatta on March 23, 2007.
After reading a few threads, looks like a few of us will be out there that weekend.
I was thinking we could meet in the channel about 10:00 am, run down to the Springs, hang out in Steam Boat for a while, and back to the Turtle for some drinks.
Let me know what you all think......
Sort of like the time we all hooked up in October, by accident!
Just a thought.

It's not looking so good for me to make out on the 23rd. The boat is still at Ultra in SD and not sure when it will be finished. Im gonna try and make it the following weekend of the 30th. Have fun.:D
What's the boat in the shop for? hope it's just little things.
No worries about not making it out, will have all summer.

We get ours back next week. We will be out on Friday the 30th through the weekend. If you get yours back in time let me know we can all meet up. My other buddy is bringing his 27 as well.

Sorry man. We are having all new interior put in the boat and it is taking a bit longer than scheduled. No biggie though. When will you be out again?

I know I was just giving you guys a hard time. We are going out Tuesday after Easter and staying through Sunday and then my wife wants to go at least one more weekend in April and then 2 or 3 weekends in May because she won't get to go on the boat much once the baby is born. We had the first out at two weeks old but that was in March so he was a few months by the time it got ridiculously hot. This one will be born at the end of June. We'll have to go out early and then drop Momma and baby off to go back to the house after a couple of hours while the rest of us stay out and play a while longer.

Come on ..........you can make it on the 30th can't you! Just tell your boss you will have a cold on the weekend of the 30th. :D

Normally I don't work weekends but my company turns 100 years old this year and the 31st we have a big hooplah going on for our employees and their families. Not only do I want to be there but I have to being that I am management and part owner of the company. We'll see you out there soon enough. Just make sure you wave hi.

What's up Dan? Long time. This guy is already buying a 27 he just wants to ride in one. He decided at the show. Come on now you know that you will always get a ride and even get a chance to drive as well:D I would also like a ride in that boat of yours!!

I'll bring it out the weekend you guys come down with yours--after that its parked, maybe for the season, but definitely a while.
Sounds like the guy made a great choice, always loved my 27' :D

496/507 with whipple and other parts from Larrys Marine in AZ.

I think if I am not mistaken he has a 496 MAG..
Originaly it was set up bone stock with 3.5 lbs of boost and ran great but all of the power was at the top it seems no matter what prop we ran.
So K.P. yanked it and built a bulletproof 507 and we are experimenting with boost (this weekend is the 7lbs pulley). Two weeks ago we ran the 3.5lbs pulley but whipple says it probably wasnt making 3.5 lbs because of the motor being much more effecient than stock.
