If i were in the market for a 47"-60" HDTV, does plasma or LCD have a better picture? Which brands do you reccomend? Thanks.

Plamsa has a better picture, but if you are going to put it in a very bright room (lots of windows and stuff) then you might be better of with an LCD. You might want to do a search, it has been covered a lot here lately.

I have both, I prefer the LCD over the Plasma. As far as brand goes, for the price it's hard to beat the Sharp Aquos. My favorite TV would is the Sharp 52" 1080p LCD.. I've seen some pretty good deals lately online, check it out.
