Looks like I might be going out and playing for a weekend next month. Never done much other than drive by at a high rate of speed on my way to Lake Pacific or back home. What's the scoop? Places to stay? Don't miss kinds of places? :D :D :D

1. STAY out of Palm Springs proper it’s the second largest Gay city in California.
2. In Rancho Mirage we have an open air mall named The River on Hwy 111. It features a Yardhouse restaurant that has a great bar. And the River Mall has Cohiba Cigar Lounge.
3. On El Paseo Blvd in Palm Desert there is a club named red 74 which I understand is well populated. http://www.redseventyfour.com/
4 Also On El Paseo is the Rocs Firehouse grill which is owned by a Hot Boater.

Go east on the 10 for just a little while until you hit the 177. Take that north to the 62 east. That will take you right into Parker, Az. From there you can jump up to Havasu if you want. If your gonna be on the face of the sun you might as well be near the river. :D

Gee, thanks for all the helpful suggestions, I think. I'd actually be meeting a girl out there, so you can all relax your gay fantasies because I don't swing that way. She's got a convention for work on Thursday and Friday and was planning on staying out there for the weekend. ;)

...snowbirds will be out of my larger condo unit April 15th if you are looking for that, otherwise the Spa Hotel Casino is a cool place to stay. It's a good casino too with an awesome steakhouse! For me, I love the eating and relaxing...we'll go to our place and literally float in the pool for 2 days, venture to The River to eat at either the Yardhouse or Cheescake Factory, maybe catch a movie...:D

The Rancho Las Palmas hotel in Rancho Mirage is nice and I think it is right across the street from The River shops. The Yardhouse there is fun. Downtown Palm Springs has some okay bars usually with live bands. JW Marriott is nice.

Yes, but she doesn't. I'm thinking a weekend of R&R is in order. I usually bike during the week to undo the damage I did on the weekends. :D :D :D

As far as a nice date trip do what "Rinda" suggested, the arial tramway.
Do a little hiking and picnic, or buy the package deal with the meal(cafateria style but decent).......
Be one with nature if you will ;) :D
