don't know about the rest of the Lonestar State but we(southeast Texas/eastern La) are catching it pretty hard and have been for the last couple of hours.
heavy rains & gusty wind. no hail or damage as of yet ,but some much needed rain!
from the radar looks as if Sam Rayburn and Toledo bend are catching some h2o as above them. hopefully the rainfall & runoff will raise their levels a little
so we will have some h2o to enjoy this summer and they can make all the electro-power they want !
they will quickly tell you the lake is for making electricity not for your boating or fishing pleasure !
