Almost got the boat ready to go!!

I fired the motor up for the first time today! I went through a set of spark plugs(fouled the first set), and burnt the piss out of my neck but its finally running:D. Here are a few pics.

BUT. (<<<<< big but :D )
The copper pipe on the fuel system is not a good idea. W/ movement, the copper will eventually crack and then you'll have a much bigger problem on your hands.:jawdrop:

Yeah, I had to second guess doing the copper line but... I really wanted to get it running and didnt have the tubing I was going to use. A friend of mine is building a stainless scoop for the carbs that I think is going to look pretty sick. I'll keep yall posted

you gotta love the smell of burning skin on the headers in the afternoon !
boat looks clean man...keep your neck off the headers it dulls the shine.

Looks good BBFNordic. I noticed there are not a lot of Nordic Bubble decks around. Here is mine with the original 1977 Gel Coat. It is kind of thin on the deck though. So no more wet sanding and buffing for this thing.
