I have yet another gel question i have a 92 eliminator formula that has some faded gel. I buff the crap out of it and it looks good for 2 weeks then goes back to looking dull. What should i do to make it shine and stay. One detailer told me it will never go away because the gel coat never hardened correctly but i cant believe that someone else said use jewelers buffing compound . WHAT SHOULD I USE!!!!!!! !! PLEASE HELP its a nice boat and i want it to look good and stay.

Try shooting about a gallon or two of Concept Clear, then wet sand, cut and polish the shit out of it.

Or if you want it to be a little tougher than Imron, you could try Duratec clear, then a wetsand and buff.
