Was in Havasu last weekend and saw they had alot of the west (island) side of the channel fenced off, can't park there. Does anyone know what they are doing, and when will they be done??? Hopefully soon or the channel will be a real mess. I also heard they are going to make you tie off to the wall moorings 1 boat per, if you dont have one you cant park is that true???

They really need to bring in some sand, the shoreline of the channel sure looked rocky in alot of areas last time out.

The city is extending the sea wall South from the condos to just North of the dog park on the Island side. Mooring stanchions will be spaced ~ every 15 feet for boats to tie off to. There was talk at one point about requiring boats to tie off only to the stanchion at one boat per stanchion with no beacing in between, whether or not that has been enacted I do not know. Sea wall is supposed to be completed by Memorial weekend.
I do believe there are 'signs' painted on the East side sea wall indicating that it is only one boat per stanchion.

Putting in a sea wall like on the other side of the channel.. Need to do that to stop erosion. Should be done in a couple of weeks...
Government Regulations.... have to follow them...
Mooring tie ups will be 11 or 12 feet apart.. other side is at 15 so should not cause any less boat access

Probably lunch. I took them at 11:30ish today.
They've actually got a lot done. The trees are uprooted and everything appears to be marked for digging.

Sadly it's behind the fence. I just finished teaching the boat how to get there by itself from it's slip last season:D Looks like I starting all over

They should rent spots for the weekend.
(That wouldn't cause any fights)

I heard that some of those tress were memorial tress that people paid for, what is the deal with that? does that mean they just get tossed??
