Does anyone know if glass beading a prop will hurt it?

It has a little surface rust on it. just wanted to clean it up

We use a cleanser that works real good, It's called "Barkeeper's Friend"..Put a little on a wet scrub pad and rub..Then spray with "Fluid Film" to keep from rusting again..These are both hardware store items

works good on rudders also... Use everytime you take your boat out of the water...

It has a little surface rust on it. just wanted to clean it up As we speak, one of my props is leaving via U.P.S. to Clovis Ca. to be checked, serviced and cleaned. Nothing like a machine finished prop.

Harold does one hell of a job on his props. Real cool guy to talk to. Told me lots of stuff about the boat I have of his.
