That boat was for sale at dragboatcity.com..It sold. The boat is a 1973 Sanger Bubble Deck..the guy who owned the boat his name is Dave..

Arghh! I hate that! Mine does the same thing. Looks like that foam rubber on the custom deal in the OP is there to prevent that.
