I'm still floating after my first ride in a K-boat.
I'll be in the garage all weekend working on the boat. I'm going though serious withdrawls. I can still feel the vibration from the blown injected alky motor.
Billy!!! I'll meet you anywhere my brother I've become a "K" *****. Nobody tell my wife
Morg.

K-Flat, let me know what you find! Got everything un-bolted right now. Have to go work on a chisel then I will lift it out.
Thats Morg Byron. Thats a killer picture. Morg should print that and post it in his garage for some incentive.

Been out working in the garage all day.
That picture was the aftermath. Billy caught me trying to take the cover off the boat 5 hours erlier, he to me to go get a beer. So I did.
Still have not broken the news to the wife that since the ride in Billy's boat I have been pimp'n looking for extra cash for the blown injected motor.
We all have to have our dreams.
Morg.
BTW- If anyone was wondering what it was like riding in the K-boat, The thing pulled harder than you could ever imagine & Billy never touched the throttle stop. eek! eek! :D

Hey Morg idea , you know that the SS motor is 13 1/2 to one, take the manifold and CA CA CA CARBURETOR off and replace with a BLOWER and INJECTOR, take a little timing out of it and run it at about 10 over and your in. Plenty of enough HP to get you started. Another tip, if you are doing some side "PIMPING" eek! as you say, you might want to start hiding all that extra cash for when the thing goes K-BOOM or the wife walks out, which ever comes first. You ask how would I know....BEEN THERE...DONE THAT !!! :D :D . Then again there is no price on a GOOD TIME :D

BillyB,What are the spec's on your boat? Hull,is it a biesemneyer or a beezer,Engine size, compression , gearbox, etc ,how bout posting some inside pictures. It sure is SWEET!!The paint Job looks real southwest indian influenced ,is there anything to that?If I had the money I'd have the same exact boat ,I'm saving now!!

Stump, the Bezer is the same as the Biesemeyer "EXCEPT" at the transom. The transom is 4" inches narrower then "THE BIG BOAT". Cockpit , deck length are the same size. The boat appears narrower because they took 2" from each side of the cap area to give the boat the needle look, but the beam of the boat at the chine is the same. As far as the engine goes it's a 440 inch Chevy built by Jim VanGordan racing engines in Upland CA. It's 10.5 to 1 with Brodix 2 heads, Roy Mersh( sorry if I spelled the last name wrong) tunnel ram manifold, Littlefield 12.71 30 over, Mallory super mag 4 with a Greer offset mag drive. Enderle bird catcher. V-drive is a Casale 10 degree with 54 gears. Prop is a 11 1/4x16 Menkens by Tom Bently and I'm able to pull around 8000 rpm with the current combo. If you ever need any prop stuff done I'd highly recommened Tom Bently as he will work with you and try to achieve the best combo for your overall performance, not to mention he makes one BADD ASS looking V- Drive. As far as the paint goes it was painted in 1991, and I didn't know it had that southwestern looking theme going, but everybody has there own perception of things. I keep wanting to re-paint the boat, but I never seem to find the time. People will come up and point things out like a couple of stress cracks (2),a little chip here or there, and wonder why I haven't fixed them, seeing as it's a new paint job and all. And when I tell them that the paint's almost 13yrs old they can't believe it. eek! And Stump if you want a boat like this to wake up argue the likes of Rusty Wallace, Jeff Gordon and any other Nascar driver who lives on lake Norman it is FOR SALE!!! . Everything has a price :D :D
