That's right, a special order Dad's Custom Boards original. :D

It probably should have more orange, but this is what the customer ordered. She even designed the swooshes...that's her brother holding it, she's cuter. :)
I found an old board at a job, and they said I could have it. The old thing was beat to hell, no use as a real surf board anymore so we did the shark bite thing to it with a sawzall, sanded and primed it, then went to town with a couple spray paint cans...go Krylon! Its going to hang on her wall as soon as I devise a way to mount it.
We did the golf cart too, tried to make it similar to the boat. Not bad for a first attempt. We'll see how it holds up over the summer..

I had to mount one of those for a client a few months back...
I glassed in a scrap of 1/2 ply then made a braket out of more scrap 1/2 ply
heres is a quick paint deal to show you what I did.

I skrewed 2 wall brakets into the wall( was mounting it at about a 45*) then set it ont top...Any time you want to take it off all you have to do is lift. And if you change something its just some skrew holes to patch.

There you go. Build a jig, and start laminating some wood. Looks pretty easy, but then again, spending $40. might be worth it.
