A California Highway Patrol officer got a shock when he stopped to help a stuck truck.
It was hauling three tons of marijuana.
The rented truck was found abandoned on a San Bernardino Freeway onramp in Ontario Wednesday night.
The engine was still warm but the cargo was hot -- plastic-wrapped bundles of marijuana worth $20 million on the street. Authorities say the truck may have overheated and the driver fled.
The CHP says it has no leads on the driver, but a spokesman says whoever walked away and left a fortune in dope on the roadside is in for some "major trouble."
