Has anyone here on the boards stayed at Havasu Springs Resort in the Marina Room? If so what were your thoughts on it....too loud, to many people, etc. Any help would be great...thanks.

I stayed at the hotel above the bar once. I puked over the rail almost hit my Cuz! Missed him by 2 seconds.(damn) We have a place at the Springs and love it there. Pretty mellow most of the time.

That's the only place I stay and have never had a problem. I've never experienced it being too loud but I guess if you're in the room directly over the bar then it could get loud. There's always plenty of parking and its docks and staying in the marina rooms you can overlook the marina and keep an eye on the boat. I've stayed in lakeview and poolside rooms but the marina rooms are more convenient cuz you dont have to drive to the room...just my .02.

Hey Pat... I used to stay there all the time... the rooms are not the greatest... but thats not why you are there... you can rent a slip for your boat (a definate plus)... resturaunt and bar are mostly good to go... was just there yesterday for lunch (service was a bit weak but food is fine, again not why you are there!)
get a poolside room...:D

thanks for the info!! We decided to stay in Parker instead, but will definitely use the info next time we decide to go to Havasu.

I agree 100% here.
Poolside is cool. A bit of a hike to the back side slips, but cool nonetheless.

The back side slips? Can you rent those slips on the southside of the Springs there? I thought that was all for the mobile home park...

The only ones I have rented were the ones by the launch ramp. That was what I was referring to.
