Well there in, took some time and ended up having to use the stringers to mount them. The first pic of the seats side by side, the second is of how much is between the seats and the side of the boat(about 4 inches) Tell me what you think.

Not trying to be a jerk but whats wrong with Kachina? We all know that they used bondo to set thier pumps back in the day. Whats your beef? Im not a Kachina fan but I was a Kachina owner and I loved my boat. It hauled azz and never had any issues. Infact it ran 85 with silicone and bondo holding the intake in:eek: Ty's bpat is a 1980 bubble deck. Me and him built that boat and know everything about it. THat boat is very solid and has no issues. This will be his 3rd summer in it and it had been golden.
If you want to bash Kachina then thats all good but please post up some supporting information. I know that your local and know about fiberglass and gelcoat so where are you? What shop do you work for or own? Just curious because I have been here for 29 years;)
Please post some info for us. Inquiring mids want to know;)

Eastside crew is comming up this year;) I just got back from saguaro and it was FULL!!!!!! We had to wait 3 hours to get on the lake:eek: We took joey's 94 kachina and ir ran very strong. In fact, the boat he bought was featured in powerboat magazine;)

Yea buddy! 98° at the shop today. Yea I worked for a bit then got back home to remove the gauges and steering wheel. I got to sand the the inner rails and add some ply to the the top to beef it up a bit.

No I just want to do the top. I dont have the time to do all of it. I didnt paint the bottom its all gel. I did paint the sides but I'm not painting them this time. No time. I only get a few hours to work on it. I work 2 jobs. My second job is my own deal so I don't have time. I want to get out there ASAP.
