Copper Pipe In Socal

I am looking to get about 5' of 2 5/8" copper pipe..Everywhere that has it wants to sell me like 20 and thats like 300 bucks.. Anyone know of a local place to get remnents??? Shot in the dark but thanks

Go to any recycling place. Stuff gets stolen from construction sites everyday. They sell it to recyclers for pennies on the dollar.
