Anyone running the Guest Battery Isolators? 2403 Isolator (http://www.marinco.com/scpt/ProdPage.php?loadItem=2403_Guest%20Recreational)
This one is for two alternators (max 70amps each), 3 batteries. My boat runs two motors (36amp alternators I believe), each with it's own battery, plus the house batteries. I'm thinking I could use this to charge them all.
Just wanting to know if anyone else is successfully using this.
Thanks.

I have a 150 amp in my boat but it's a single alternator input. Can't afford two enjums. :D
Works fine, keeps a starting batttery charged.

Dont know anything about that specific isolator. I use one in my boat to charge the starting battery and my stereo batteries. Charges all but isolates them on the draw. It works good but there is a down side. You lose about a half of a volt in the process. Dosent sound like much but is a fairly substancial amount of lost juice. I also have an onboard charger because there is no way for the alternator to keep the stereo batteries charged after a day on the lake.
